Developer Camp began in 2007 with the arrival of an open source Web stack for mobile. It builds on the tradition of MacHack, SuperHappyDevHouse, and BarCamp. Participants have gone on to sell their companies to Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Oracle, and Disney.
